Program of study
Students will follow a well structured scheme of learning that covers all aspects of the national curriculum featuring reasoning, logic & problem-solving questions as well as opportunities to revisit various topics along the way. Optional courses of GCSE Statistics & GCSE Further Maths are available in Y10 & 11 respectively.
Assessment & Homework
Students will be assessed through appropriate formative and summative assessments throughout each term, any topics showing a lack of understanding will be revisited and then re-tested.
Homework is set using Sparx Maths, this runs alongside our scheme of learning and sets bespoke homework each week tailored to the ability of each individual student.
