Sandbach School has a long tradition of students wearing school uniform. It is a fundamental aspect of who we are because of the many advantages to having it. School uniform creates a sense of equality and unity among students. When everyone wears the same clothes, there is less pressure to compete over fashion or expensive brands, which can reduce bullying and help students feel included. Uniforms also encourage discipline and school pride, as students represent their school through their appearance. In addition, school uniforms can improve safety because it is easier to identify students and visitors on school grounds. Overall, we believe that uniforms help create a focused learning environment where students can concentrate more on their education rather than their clothing.

In line with recent government guidance, we are limiting the number of compulsory branded uniform items. Under the new policy, students will be required to have no more than four badged (branded) uniform items.
* These compulsory items will continue to be available for purchase from trusted suppliers, Peevers and Badged in Sandbach, ensuring consistency and quality.
** To keep the Sandbach identity strong, a range of non-badged sportswear will be introduced. These items will be sold directly through Sandbach School, offering families a more cost effective option. Please see Uniform letters, sent to all parents, for further information. Sandbach School Pre-Loved/Recycled Uniform Shop
The school has a well utilised pre-loved uniform shop which houses stock of all our uniform and is available for families to take advantage of. The pre-loved uniform shop will be open on Thursday 13th August between 9.00am and 11.00am during the 6-week summer holidays. We have very much appreciated the donations so far of good condition and washed pre-loved/recycled uniform, but we continue to need as many donations as possible for the new school year. Please either drop them off at Main Reception or send them in with your son to his pastoral team. Thank you in advance.
