Sandbach School GCSE and Level Two Qualifications Press Release 2022
Sandbach School Headteacher Sarah Burns, Governors and all school staff today praised the school’s Year 11 students for the results of their GCSE and Level Two qualifications.
The results our students are receiving today are a result of their considerable hard work and resilience during the pandemic and the extended exam period. They are now looking forward to the next stage of their educational journey, whether that be with us at Sandbach School Sixth Form or elsewhere.
The Headteacher, Mrs Sarah Burns said ‘We are incredibly proud of the hard work, resilience and focus shown by our Year 11 cohort in the face of both the normal challenges of GCSE and Level 2 study as well as the additional challenges they have faced over the course of the pandemic. We are exceptionally thankful for the support shown to the students and the school by their families and the school community.’
The school saw some exceptional individual academic attainment and we offer special congratulations to Mentor Wong, Jack Briggs, Callum Rayner and Max Bradshaw who achieved an impressive mixture of the top grades available.
Many of the current Year 11 are now enrolling in the school’s successful sixth form and over the next few days staff will be available to welcome them, along with students joining us from other schools.
Whatever their chosen pathway we wish the class of 2022 all the very best for the future and hope to hear of their many future successes.
