Sixth Form Open Evening
There are a number of events that are designed to help you make informed decisions about your post-16 education.
Our September Open Evening revolves around introductory talks from the Head teacher and the Head of Sixth Form along with the opportunity to talk to the subject leaders of the many different subjects on offer.
28th September 2016
Subject Fair :
4.30pm- 6.00pm. Presentations at 6.00pm.
Teachers will be available to talk about their subjects in terms of the content taught, assessment and the entry requirements for the course. Throughout the evening our Senior Students and Sixth Form Support Staff are present to talk to you and answer questions about subject choices and life in the Sixth Form. We believe this evening will prove to be very informative and will help your son/daughter to make important decisions about his/her academic future.
We welcome applications from boys and girls in the South Cheshire area.
To further ensure a smooth transition to Key Stage 5 study, we are planning A-level Taster Days later in the year. Details will be available nearer to the time.
Making the right choice
The Russell Group, a collaboration of well-respected research based universities, produced a thorough and informative guide to choosing your A-levels with the next step in mind. You can use this link or search ‘informed choices’ to find the video clip and associated information booklet.
