PTA
Sandbach School PTA
Sandbach School PTA is a friendly group of parents who organise events to raise money which is used to benefit the pupils of the school.
PTA New Parents Welcome
Anyone who has a child at the school can be a PTA member. The current active members are all busy working parents, with little spare time, but manage to spare on average just 1 hour/month to support the PTA.
2010 was a year where the PTA was not very well supported, at most meetings we had a maximum of 10 parents attending. Therefore in October 2011, a letter was sent to parents advising them of this and that the PTA was under threat of closure due to lack of support. The meeting that followed this letter, resulted in a record attendance of 20 parents and we now have this amount of people attending each meeting. Therefore 2011 is a new vibrant era for the PTA. We are busy organizing some new events, that we hope will be well supported by the school community so that we can raise money for the boys.
If you do not want the role of a PTA committee member or able to attend our meetings, please find below details of how you can support the PTA:
- Attend a PTA event
- Donate a prize for an event.
- £ for £ matching from your Employer.
- Join the 200 Club which is a monthly lottery.
- Purchase used School Uniform from the PTA (click here for more information: PTA Uniform Letter March 2012).
- Donate used School Uniform to the PTA for our stock.
