Sandbach Somme Service

Last Friday a short service was held in Sandbach to mark 100 years since the end of the battle of the Somme.
The Royal British Legion had a cross made up for every person from Sandbach that died in the battle. Six of these people were from the school, 5 old boys and one teacher.
The school were invited to take six students down to take part in the service and to put a named cross down for each person that died. We were represented by Callum Binner, Jacob Wood, Brynley Mullen, Adam Binner, Reece Parker and Oliver Temporal. The students conducted themselves with great dignity and Mr Sykes was proud to be there with them.
